Vintage Thingy Thursday

This is my dancing bear. I know nothing about it! Don't know if it's European or American. Someone gave it to my mom, when she was down sizing I grab this guy. I remember it was high on shelf, so we wouldn't play with it. It has a wonderful fabric on it. No eyes. But the best part is I have the key to him. And he still winds up!

Where do I keep it? High on a shelf so know one can play with it. LOL

Oh, I collect black bears, what a treasure. I LOVE IT. I would try and keep it high on a shelf. And imagine you still have the key. Great. This is so super cute....I am drooling here. Seriously. Let me get a tissue. Great Post. I love me some black bears, man.

HA! How great is that! I'd keep it on a high shelf too...

I had a dancing monkey. It slapped together cymbals. Very noisy. My Mom always hid it! :)

Great vintage toy...and with the key! I had a dog that did back flips. How my grandma would laugh when it did that!

The pyrex dish was $4. And I'm sure that I was in the right place at the right time :)

Love your dancing bear! Wonderful to own a vintage wind-up toy!
Blessings to You and thanks so much for your kind words left at the cabin!
(I'm not much of a cook these days, so I haven't tried the recipies--wish I had the time!)

I remember this sitting on the shelf. Mom would get so angry if you pulled it down and tried to wind it. "you'll break it!". I would always wonder what was in that bottle he was drinking. LOL
