Look at this monument.....it makes you think how long it has been....and how long it will end.
Rob and I woke up and decided to go to the Veterans Memorial Park on post.
Stopped by the Engineer Monument.
There is a old Engineer there.
We were disappointed though. There was not one flag flying.
We walked in silence......
just thinking all the soldiers through out the years....
....the soldiers that fought for this Country and so many people abuse it...
...the sacrifices they made....
...going way back...the pride in our soldiers to fight for our Country...
how many lives....
hundreds of years.....
to many wars......
Memorial Day and everyday you'll never be forgotten.
We stopped by the Veterans Cemetery, it's under construction right now.
It will be beautiful when it opens up.
Thank you who have fought, Thank you who are fighting. You'll never be forgotten for the sacrifices you have made.

Beautiful dedication.
Well said. I wish we could have put out our flag but our holder broke and we cannot replace it until the bay window painted. The boys and I decided to go check out the local memorial and I was so glad we did.
