OK, I saw this quilt on Lady Harvatine, she called it a Confetti quilt. In other words it uses up scraps. I had these small fabric scraps I just fell in love with. And didn't know what to do with them. I saw this quilt, and that was that. I do have more fabric then white, but I used my scraps up . If I ever do this again I'll use fatter white strips.
I had plenty of white scraps, so started to sew scrappy style. Measuring doesn't count on this one. Zip -Zip-Zip.
The back. I ran of white and still had some scrappy left, attached them to the white. Pinned together and ready for hand quilting.
I believe I'm going to quilt around the shapes.
Another project for when my feet are up.!
